Tires
I noticed that quite a few people are using some very worn tires. When the budget opens up, I'm thinking about getting everyone a rear tire and use part of the budget to get everyone a discount on some quality tires.
I'm thinking about getting everyone that wants one a Continental Gatorskin, unless someone else thinks they found a more durable and yet race worthy tire. You don't want to use some of the very lite tires because the roads around here will tear it up before you get to your 100th mile.
If there is enough interest, the price after the discount will be around $20-$30 per tire. I'm hoping to get them right around the start of the semester so everyone can use them and get comfortable with them.

I hear good things about abot the Vredestein fortezza tricomp's.
I had those and they aren't that durable. Probably 200 miles before the first flat. I always check my tires pressure and surfaces before I go out for a ride, so it wasn't due to my negligence
My gatorskins took about 800 miles before it even has a cut that went through the kevlar, but that was because I was riding off road a little too much.
if you end up getting them, grab me 2. I need a new front also
