Island Rides

Hi guys! Good news is I recovered from my crash in the Syracuse Criterium. About three weeks afterwards, I could finally wear shoes again and of course started right in on the bike. I rented bikes in Barcelona, Mallorca and Valencia (all Spain) and a piece of crap with the hardest seat on the planet in Zanzibar, Tanzania. Here's two of the best rides I've done: http://www.mapmyrun.com/ride/spain/s'arenal/616273494 and http://www.mapmyrun.com/ride/tanzania/stone-town/616284862 Some highlights included a lunch break for a swordfish steak in the mountain town of Fornalutx 400 meter unlit tunnel at the top of the mountain in Mallorca (literally, riding toward the light at the end of the tunnel), the Jambiani beach in Zanzibar, and riding through mango-lined roads in Jozani Forest in Zanzibar with red colobus monkeys jumping across the road in front of me. Anyone else have great rides they want to share? Sketch them out on mapmyride.com, save them as public and share the link.

Cool, so you've recovered. WHen are you headed to Buffalo for some BBC action?

We're doing a tri state ride from Connecticut to Massachusetts to Oneonta on plain old steel bikes in a week. THat'll be the highlight of August... take care.
