Today turned out to be a great day of riding. If you weren't there, don't fuss. There will be more to come. A three day weekend is coming up, so you know we have something awesome planned. Next Sunday we're heading to East Arura area for flats of a different kind. It will be mostly rolling hills and traffic will be very lite with maybe a few climbs. I will try to get an SA (Student Association) van for the day, but since it's very early in the semester, I may not be able to get one. Details will be posted when the day is near.
Also as a club we have to do a certain amount of SA volunteering to be on good terms with SA. There is a great one coming up on 9/08 it is for the Fall Fest, they are hiring 200 event staffs. I know the music might not be all that great, but there is money and volunteering credit involved. Two for one, what's not to like?!? For those that work the event, the money we earn will come back to you directly in forms of a jersey discount or something bike related. Your choice! You need to let me know if you can do this by Thursday 8/30, so I can get in touch with SA and get the job because these things fill up very fast! There are three shifts:
1.) Pre show [8:30am-4:00pm]
2.) During show [3:30pm-11:30pm]
3.) Clean up [11:00pm-2:00am]
There will be a Grand Island TTT (Team Time Trial) 9am on 9/09 (Sunday), ~12.2 miles, mostly flat, constant headwind. I'm confident that we already have a three person team going into the race, but I would like a five man team if possbile. Get in touch with me if you're in.

Sorry I couldnt ride today. I was working all day at the pharmacy. Also, my sister is visting next weekend so count me out. I would be avaliable monday (labor at like 3pm)
