1. i hope you sent in your physical forms already. the deadline was in sept or something. see my past posts.
2. devise a training schedule so as to get close to peak form by early march. this is when the earliest collegiate races start. for more info, google ECCC and check the 2008 schedule if its up already. peak form should be reserved for the top races in the season.
4. while doing the above think about what your goals are, how much experience you have racing and riding, and how many hours you're going to devote each week to training realisitically.
3. start your base training as soon as you can. you may include skiing, running, fixed gear riding as well. if you don't know what base is, or any thing i'm talking about, google "cycling base training" or get joe friel's "training bible" book for periodization tips.

Answers to FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
1. You need to fill out four forms for SA. The physical form you filled out with the school upon admission will not apply to the SA requirement. All new members must fill out the four forms.
2. This is a SA club, and within the club there is a team, similar to how a Matryoshka doll works. So if you're in the club then you can be in the team. There are no try outs. 3. Even though this is a club run by undergradates there are a large number of graduate students, we don't hate. 4. We do not hold meetings, because they take time away from riding.
5. You must wear a helmet if you are coming to ride with us!
